Marcus Aurelius, as Caesar, 139-161. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 2.78 g, 6 h), Rome, 152-153. AVRELIVS CAE - SAR AVG PII FIL Bare head of Aurelius to right. Rev. TR POT VII COS II Genius Exercitus standing left, sacrificing over altar from patera held in right hand and holding legionary eagle in left. BMCRE 804-5 ( Pius ). RIC 458 ( Pius ). RSC 661. Very fine.
