CARTHAGE. Circa 350-320 BC. Stater (Gold, 17.5 mm, 9.36 g, 12 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing triple pendant earring, necklace, tied at the back and hung with eight pendants, and a wreath of grain leaves. Rev. Horse standing to right; in field to right, before horse’s fore legs, three pellets arranged as an inverted triangle; below horse's belly, pellet. Jenkins & Lewis Group IIIa, 8 ( same dies? ).
