Description

CAMPANIA. Cumae. Circa 475-470 BC. Nomos (Silver, 20.5 mm, 7.44 g, 7 h). Facing lion's scalp flanked on either side by boar's head. Rev. KVMAION Barley-corn above large mussel shell. HN III 515. Cf. Rutter 3-8 ( dies not recorded ); SNG ANS -. Toned. Nearly very fine.
