Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. AΛEΞANΔΡOΥ Zeus, draped from the waist and wearing elaborate sandals, seated left on high-backed throne, holding eagle on his outstretched right hand and long scepter in his left; in field to left, bunch of grapes on stem with tendrils. Price 589. Well-centered and boldly struck, with a particularly elegant reverse. Minor marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
