Description
SICILY. Himera. Circa 480-470 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 21 mm, 8.38 g, 8 h). ΗΙΜΕRΑ Cock standing to left. Rev. Crab within shallow circular incuse. SNG ANS 156 (same obverse die). Westermark, Himera 31.5 (O8/R26, this coin). Nicely toned and well-struck. Minor marks and traces of corrosion, otherwise, good very fine.
