Description

SICILY. Akragas. Circa 465/4-446 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 17.42 g, 1 h). AKRAC - ANTOΣ Eagle standing to left. Rev. Crab seen from above. BMC 37 (same dies). Westermark 317.2 (this coin, dies O4/R11). Attractive, lightly toned and well-struck. Some areas of striking flatness and some minor marks, otherwise, extremely fine.
