Amastris. Circa 285-250 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 9.40 g, 1 h). Head of Mithras to right wearing Persian mitra adorned with laurel wreath and star. Rev. ΑΜΑΣΤΡΙΕΩΝ Aphrodite seated left on throne, holding Nike in her right hand and lotos-tipped scepter with her left; in field to left, rose. Callataÿ, Premier 25 (D13/R5). Clear and lightly toned. Some surface roughness, otherwise, about extremely fine.
