[..]Θ TΩ C' / M/X Bust of the winged Archangel Michael facing, holding globus and spear. Rev. NIKH/ ΦOPΩ E/ΠICKOΠΩ/ TIBEPIA/ΠOΛ in five lines within linear border. Possibly unpublished; cf. Zacos I 1473 for the seal of another bishop from this city. With a lovely and particularly artistic depiction of the Archangel Michael; particularly hard-to-find seal. Very fine.
Tiberioupolis was, apparently, a city in Bithynia.
