Isaac II Angelus, first reign, 1185-1195. Tetarteron (Copper, 20 mm, 3.79 g, 6 h), Thessalonica. O/AP - X/M Facing bust of the Archangel Michael, holding trefoil-tipped scepter and globus cruciger. Rev. IC/AA/K - Δ/ECΠO/THC Facing bust of Isaac, holding cross-tipped scepter and akakia. DOC 5a. SB 2005. Very fine.
