Kingdom of Macedon, Alexander III 'the Great'. AR Drachm.(17mm, 4,22 g), 336-323 BC. Kolophon. Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ. Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Below throne, horizontal grain ear below strut; spearhead to outer right.
