Handsomely bound in contemporary full tan crushed morocco, the boards chequered in blind within ornamental borders and a single gilt fillet. Black morocco title labels to the spines, lettered in gilt, the endpapers and all edges marbled. Rubbed and worn at the joints and extremities, the contents lightly browned but clean, a very good set overall. The first edition of this classic work, rarely offered. (2)
