A Crimean War Long Service and Good Conduct Group of 3 awarded to Driver John Ferguson, Royal Horse Artillery, comprising: Crimea, 1854-56, 4 clasps, Alma, Balaklava, Inkermann, Sebastopol (J. Ferguson. Dr. Rl. Horse Arty), officially impressed; Turkish Crimea, 1855-56, Sardinian Issue, with replacement ‘Crimea medal’ suspension (John. Ferguson. R.H.A.), depot impressed naming; Army Long Service and Good Conduct, V.R., swivel type suspension (17040 Serjt. John Ferguson Depot Bgde. RA), officially impressed; Group loose, some edge bruising, good fine to very fine (3) Two men of the name ‘John Ferguson’ appear to have served in the Crimea with the R.H.A. – 1 in “A” Troop, and 1 in “C” Troop.
