*William III, Recoinage of 1695-96: Charles II, Hammered Coinage, First Issue, shilling, m.m. crown on obverse only, crowned bust left without mark of value, reverse type 1, 5.59g (N. 2762; S.3308; Bull 272; E.S.C. 1010), officially pierced in the centre during the recoinage of 1695-96, fine and rare. Formerly ex Dr E. Burstal Collection.
