No.2502. 42nd Highlandrs), contemporary engraving in upright capitals; Indian Mutiny, 1857-59, no clasp (2502 Pte Duncan Cameron. 42nd Foot.); Turkish Crimea, 1855-56, British Issue, unnamed as issued, with replacement straight bar suspension taken from a Crimea Medal; Group loose, lightly toned, good very fine, with old and possibly original ribbons (3). Private Duncan Cameron is confirmed on the nominal roll for the Crimean War as having served with the 42nd Highlanders, and is confirmed on the Indian Mutiny Medal Roll with additional entitlement to the ‘Lucknow’ clasp.
