William Cox. 42nd Royal Highlanders), contemporary engraving in upright capitals, weak in parts; Group loose, contact marks from wear, very fine (4). Private William Cox is confirmed on the nominal roll for the Royal Highlanders during the Crimean War, and appears to be entitled to the ‘Balaklava’ clasp. He is confirmed on the medal roll for the Indian Mutiny with entitlement to the ‘Lucknow’ clasp.
