CELTIC, Carpathian region. Uncertain tribe. Circa 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 8.39 g, 9 h), 'Sattelkopfpferd' type, imitating Philip II of Macedon. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. Celticized horse to left within round incuse. Lanz 612. OTA pl. 26, 303.5. Very fine.
