AY•K•ΠO•ΓAΛΛIHNOC Radiate, helmeted, draped and cuirassed bust of Gallienus to left, holding spear and shield. Rev. ANTIOXЄΩN Bridge of six arches spanning the Maeander, with gateway to left and river-god Maeander reclining left on bridge, holding reed in his right hand and leaning left on urn; to right, male figure standing left, holding walking stick (?). BMC 57 var. (no male figure). RPC X online ID 60041. SNG München 92 var. (no male figure). SNG von Aulock 2431 var. (differing reverse legend). Slightly rough and with a flan fault and light scratches on the reverse, otherwise, about very fine.

The monumental bridge shown on the reverse of this coin is probably the bridge mentioned, en passant, by Strabo, before he goes on to praise the famous dried figs of the Carian Antiochia (Strabo XIII 4,15).
