Elagabalus, 218-222. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 2.97 g, 6 h), Rome, 221. IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus to right, seen from behind. Rev. P M TR P IIII COS III P P Victory advancing left, holding open wreath in both hands; at feet to left and right, round shields; in field to right, star. BMC 251. Cohen 195. RIC 45. A lovely and nicely toned coin. Good extremely fine.
