Constantine VII Porphyrogenitus, 913-959. Follis (Bronze, 25 mm, 3.34 g, 5 h), Constantinopolis, 920-931. Three-quarter length figure of Constantine VII standing facing, wearing loros, chlamys and crown surmounted by cross, holding labarum in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left. Rev. ✠CONS/tAҺtIҺ' / ЄҺ ΘЄ bAS/IL' ROM' in four lines. DOC 23. SB 1759. Rare. Minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.
