Description
MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Circa 432-348 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 14.41 g, 9 h), Olynthos, Ariston, magistrate, circa 350. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. XAΛ-KIΔ-EΩN / EΠI AΡΙΣΤΩΝΟΣ Kithara with six strings; all within shallow round incuse. Robinson & Clement Group V, 134 (A82/P112). SNG ANS 497 ( same dies ). Light deposits and with some flan faults, otherwise, good very fine.
