ISLAMIC, Mongols. Chaghatayid Khans. Kebek, circa AH 720-726 / AD 1320-1326. 1/6 Dinar (Silver, 19 mm, 1.40 g, 11 h), Bukhara, AH 723 = 1323/4. Within a hexafoil, ‘Kibāk / al-khāqān / al-ʿādil / khān’ (‘The just Khaqan, Kibak Khan’ in Arabic). Rev. Tamgha in center; around, ‘sikka / Bukhā – rā / … 723’ (‘Coin of Bukhara, … 723’ in Arabic). Album 1989. Struck slightly off center and with some scratches, otherwise, very fine.
