ISLAMIC, Mongols. Chaghatayid Khans. Tarmaschirin, AH 726-734 / AD 1326-1334. Dinar (Silver, 30 mm, 7.86 g), Anonymous (‘twins’) type, Madinat al-Rijal Tirmidh. ‘al-ʿadl wa al-mulk ˗ tawʾamān’ (‘Justice and kingship are twins’ in Arabic) in two lines divided by tamgha. Rev. Tamgha in center; around, ‘sikka / Madīnat ˗ al-rijāl / Tirmidh’ (‘Coin of Madinat al-Rijal Tirmidh’ in Arabic). Album 1992. Rare. Scratches, otherwise, good fine.
