CILICIA. Tarsus. Hadrian, 117-138. Tridrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 10.08 g, 12 h). [Α]ΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΘΕ ΤΡ ΠΑΡ ΥΙ ΘΕ ΝΕΡ ΥΙ ΤΡΑ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹEB Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. ΤΑΡϹΕΩΝ ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΕΩϹ City-goddess, turreted and veiled, seated left, holding palm in her right hand and cornucopiae with her left; to left at feet, river-god Kydnos, crowned with wreath of sedge, swimming left. Prieur 761. RPC III online 3262.20 ( this coin ). Nicely toned. Slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
