ΛΥΣΙΛEΩΣ (sic!) - ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ Trophy left. HGC 3.2, 1755. SNG Copenhagen 1164-7. A highly interesting piece with a most curious reverse legend error. Minor flan faults, otherwise, good very fine.

This highly interesting piece comes with a most curious legend error on the reverse, as the artist apparently confused name and title and hence spelled the king's name as ΛΥΣΙΛEΩΣ instead of ΛΥΣΙMAXOY in error!
