Description
SICILY. Kentoripai. 354/3-344 BC. AE (Bronze, 30 mm, 26.62 g, 12 h). Head of nymph to left, wearing wreath of reeds; [four dolphins around]. Rev. [ΚΕΝΤΟΡΙΠΙΝΩΝ] Panther walking to left. CNS 1. HGC 2, 638. Somewhat rough, otherwise, fine.
Privately acquired from Brüder Egger in the late 19th or early 20th century (with original dealer's ticket).
