ISLAMIC, Mamluks. al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Barsbay, AH 825-841 / AD 1422-1438. Dirham (Silver, 18 mm, 3.00 g), first weight standard, citing 'dirham' on the obverse, al-Qahira, AH 825 = AD 1422. Album P999. Of the highest rarity. Minor areas of weakness and with scratches, otherwise, very fine.
