★ An extremely rare issue from al-Qahira ★
ISLAMIC, Mamluks. al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Barsbay, AH 825-841 / AD 1422-1438. Dirham (Silver, 16 mm, 2.00 g), third weight standard, citing 'Dama Izzuhu wa Baqâh' in Arabic, al-Qahira, AH 829 = AD 1425/6. Album 1001 var. (differing legends). Extremely rare. Minor nicks, otherwise, very fine.
