PHRYGIA. Sebaste. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Diassarion (Bronze, 23 mm, 6.43 g, 6 h), time of Elagabalus to Severus Alexander, 218-235. ΙЄΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤ/ΟϹ Diademed and draped bust of the Roman Senate to right. Rev. ϹЄΒΑϹΤΗΝΩΝ Emperor on horseback to right, about to spear enemy below. BMC 15. RPC VI online 5680. SNG Copenhagen 676. Attractive earthen highlights. Two minor flan faults on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
