PHRYGIA. Sebaste. Severus Alexander, 222-235. Tetrassarion (Bronze, 30 mm, 10.70 g, 6 h). ΑΥ Κ Μ ΑΥ ϹЄΒ ΑΛЄΞΑΝΔΡ/ΟϹ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Severus Alexander to right. Rev. ϹЄΒΑϹΤΗΝΩΝ Tyche standing front, head to left, holding rudder in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left, within tetrastyle temple with domed roof. RPC VI online 5673. Waddington 6484. Extremely rare, apparently the third known example. Some deposits and with a scratch on the obverse, otherwise, good fine.
