KYRENAICA. Kyrene. Circa 500-480 BC. Drachm (Silver, 11 mm, 3.10 g), 'Asiatic' standard. Two silphium fruits back to back. Rev. Facing lion mask within incuse square. BMC 38. SNG Copenhagen 1172. Extremely rare. Struck from worn dies , otherwise, very fine.
