★ An apparently unique aureus of Valerian ★

Valerian I, 253-260. Aureus (Gold, 19 mm, 2.30 g, 6 h), Rome, 257-258. IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS P F AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Valerian to right. Rev. VICTORIA GERM Victory standing front, head to left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left; at feet to left, captive seated left. Calicó 3447b ( this coin cited and illustrated ). Cohen -. MIR -. RIC -. Apparently unique. The flan slightly wavy and with minor scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
