ITALY. Sicilia (Regno). Enrico VI, 1194-1197. Fractional Dirham (Silver, 10 mm, 0.30 g, 6 h), Palermo. Z REX / SICIL in two lines; above, cross between two pellets. Rev. 'Harir / Quaysar / Aughust' ('Henry Caesar Augustus' in Arabic) in three lines. MEC 477-8. Spahr 2. An attractive example with fully readable legends. Very fine.

The Arabic legend on this interesting issue identifies Henry VI, a son of Frederick Barbarossa, as the Holy Roman Emperor.
