BRUTTIUM. Lokroi Epizephyrioi. Circa 400-350 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 20 mm, 7.40 g, 4 h). Laureate head of Zeus to right; behind, thunderbolt. Rev. [ΛOKPΩN] Eagle standing left, wings spread, clutching dead hare held in its talons. HN Italy 2327. SNG ANS 519. Nicely toned. Minor scratches on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
