Description

Vespasian, 69-79. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 27 mm, 11.69 g, 6 h), Rome, 74. IMP CAES VESP AVG P M T P COS V CEN Radiate head of Vespasian to right. Rev. FELICITAS PVBLICA / S - C Felicitas standing front, head to left, holding caduceus in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC 696. Cohen 153. RIC 715. Well struck and with a bold and attractive portrait. Slightly rough and with a minor flan fault on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
