CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 500-450 BC. Stater (Silver, 20 mm, 8.51 g, 1 h). Ϙ Pegasos flying left with curved wing. Rev. Head of Aphrodite to right, wearing Corinthian helmet and pearl necklace; all within incuse square. Calciati 53. Ravel 133c ( this coin ). Beautifully toned and with a lovely head of Aphrodite of fine early style. The obverse struck from a worn die and with two minor graffiti on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
