Marcian, 450-457. Nummus (Bronze, 13 mm, 1.34 g, 12 h), Constantinopolis. [D N] MARCIANVS P F [AVG] Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Marcian to right. Rev. Monogram of Marcian within wreath; in exergue, [CON]. RIC 542. Beautiful earthen highlights. Light scratches, otherwise, very fine.
