Second Intermediate Period, c. 1650-1550 B.C. Steatite scarab (17x11mm). Base engraved with various signs with the wings of the Horus falcon on the side to add further protection. Some chipping, once glazed, pierced for mounting. From an American Collection formed in the 1990’s.
