CHAOUABTI AU NOM DE PA-NEFER-SEDJEM
Figuré debout dans sa gaine momiforme. Les mains croisées sur la poitrine tenant les houes. Il porte une perruque tripartite. Le corps est inscrit d'une colonne hiéroglyphique. Faïence siliceuse à glaçure bleue et noire. H. 9 cm Egypte, IIIe Période Intermédiaire, XXIe dynastie, c. 1070-945 av. J.-C. A Third Intermediate Period faience glazed Shabti for Pa-Nefer-Sedjem, shown mummiform, the features in applied black. Handsomely proportioned, the well-modeled face with large accented eyes and eyebrows. He wears a tripartite wig and a seshed headband, the arms fold across chest, and hands holding agricultural tools for work in the afterlife. On the flat black is a basket filled with seed grain.A vertical inscription runs down the front of the body that extending across the feet reads: Illuminate the Osiris, Chief Treasurer, Pa-Nefer-Sedjem, justified.
