Description

Chihuahua. Revolutionary "Bolita" Peso 1913 MS62 PCGS, KM610, GB-78. Hildago del Parral type. Possibly the finest known example of this extremely rare revolutionary issue; not in terms of its certification, but surely in terms of its sharpness and visual appeal. The Standard Catalog of World Coins plate coin for this type sold for $14,000 hammer in 2010 graded MS63. However, even cursory inspection of that piece shows it has wear to the 'E' and 'S' in PESO, as well as the central stem of the 1 (each representing the highest points of the design). The present offering, in contrast, is absolutely razor sharp even to those highpoints, the planchet glowing with hypnotizing white-gold tone. Ex. Canaparo Collection
