Canada St. John's, NF- Newfoundland Government Cash Note $1 1908 NF-5h PMG Very Fine 25. A classic British Commonwealth rarity, and very desirable in such a decent original grade. Although circulated, the paper remains fairly fresh, and the color schemes are bright despite being printed over a century ago. The printed and manuscript signatures are strong as well. Rare in any grade, and eminently collectible in this pleasing condition. Newfoundland was not absorbed into Canada until 1949, which draws British Commonwealth collectors to this series.
