Szechuan. Kuang-hsü 5 Cents ND (1898-1908) MS63 NGC, KM-Y234, L&M-351. Minor darkened accents and a thin sheen of champagne color provides a powerfully captivating appearance to the present specimen, which for its part displays an admirable level of engraving for the series, some minor die clashing existing on the reverse and a small die crack around 4 o'clock. Presently tied for the second finest seen to-date by NGC.
