Victoria gold 1/2 Sovereign 1886-S AU58 PCGS, Sydney mint, KM5, S-3862E. Quite the delight when viewed in hand, with delicate mint bloom decorating the pleasingly well-preserved fields. Just two coins outrank the present selection at PCGS, and none finer found on NGC census either. Quality-minded collectors should take note, as an attainable coin with this nice eye-appeal comes up seldom. Privately purchased from Jaggard's in Sydney, Australia; accompanied by their flip.
