Description

Republic gold 10 Dukatu 1936 MS64 PCGS, KM14, Fr-4. Mintage: 1,239. Bordering on gem and an endlessly appealing type, shown here with a massive planchet drenched in canary-gold coloration and full-bodied luster that confirms original surfaces. The illustrative motifs have received a decidedly powerful strike, rendering nearly all of the details boldly raised and sharp over both sides. A few minor contact marks likely preclude a finer designation, but they barely impact the overall appealing nature of this selection. While not the finest-certified example of the date, a coin that easily wows at every turn, making it exceptional in its own right.
