Constans, as Caesar (AD 337-350). AR siliqua (20mm, 3.17 gm, 5h). NGC Choice XF S 4/5 - 5/5. Thessalonica, 5th officina, AD 335-336. Diademed head of Constans right, eyes raised to God / CONSTANS-NOB CAESAR, Victory advancing left, wreath upward in right hand, palm cradled on left arm; TSЄ in exergue. RIC VII -, cf. 214-217 for same series for Constantine I, Constantine II, Constantius II and Delmatius. Deep cabinet toning on generous flan with great eye appeal. From the Morris Collection.
