Diocletian (AD 284-305). BI quinarius (14mm, 1.40 gm, 12h). NGC VF 4/5 - 2/5. Rome, ca. AD 285. DIOCLET-I-ANVS AVG, jugate, laureate busts left of Jupiter (behind), and Diocletian (in front), laureate and cuirassed, spear in right hand over shoulder, shield in left decorated with three figures in foreground and a crowd behind / IOVI CONS-ERVAT, Jupiter standing facing, head left, thunderbolt in right hand, scepter in left, eagle left at feet.
