Description

Philip IV (1621-1665) gold Cob Escudo ND MS63 PCGS, Seville mint, 3.40g, KM68, Cal-46. A very well-struck specimen for this type, centrally executed on a good flan. These virtues, coupled with a generous helping of luster across both surfaces, creates a pleasing visual effect in keeping with the lofty choice Mint State grade this Cob has received. Likely one of the finest known for the type, and desirable thus.
