Republic Yuan Shih-kai Dollar Year 3 (1914)-O/O MS61 PCGS, KM-Y329.4, L&M-63C, Kann-648. Yuan not connected. A quite dramatic variety exhibiting clear overlapping "O"s in the reverse ribbon. This is a decidedly fleeting variety but this example is also the only Mint State specimen at PCGS and thus the finest known at that grading service. Chinese Dollar and variety specialists would be wise to keep a close eye on this lot when it crosses the auction block, as "Top Pop" varieties of this magnitude don't come up for sale very often.
