This alluring 100 Lire is only rarely offered on auction in this technical caliber. At the peak of its small population, this luminous survivor presents virtually Proof surfaces with icy motifs, detailed and sharp, upon watery, glossy fields. Few contact marks across the reflective peripheries preclude it from a finer grade, yet the absence of any larger distractions means that the offering very nearly presents better than what is implied by its "MS62" grade, its flashy and reflective finish only further enhanced by precision-struck detail evident across every facet of the central designs.
