Description

George III silver Proof Bank Token of 6 Shillings 1804 PR66 NGC, KM-Tn1, S-6615. A type which, even if it weren't a great rarity, would still make its viewers pause thanks to a nearly sculpted appearance that is catapulted to a new degree of refinedness by smoky, luster-laden surfaces. Even under magnification, the transition from the raised features to the open expanses of the fields is dramatic, producing a finish that essentially makes the design elements jump out at the beholder. Currently tied for the finest certified across both major grading services, and a coin that must be viewed in hand to be fully appreciated.
