British Colony. Sierra Leone Company silver Proof 20 Cents 1791 PR64 NGC, Soho KM4. Three blades of grass under the "S" of SIERRA variety. A very rare silver Proof issue of this ever-popular design from a mintage of a mere 84 pieces, represented here by a specimen tied for NGC's "top pop." The offering displays fully defined devices and an understated but elegant Proof sheen on the fields. The umber surfaces yield lovely cabinet toning with champagne, amethyst, and teal hues when tilted at the correct angle. Virtually no signs of wear are discernable.
